RV Set Up Checklist

1. Fill up water tank (if applicable)
   

2. Inspect site: hookup location, space for slide outs

3. Level camper (drive onto blocks if needed for side-to-side leveling)
   

4. Add wheel chocks

5. Align leveling blocks under jacks
   

6. Extend jacks (front)

7. Unhitch (undo pin in the hitch, carefully pull back hitch arm to open jaws, add the pin to hold arm open)

   1. Unplug trailer from truck

   2. Release trailer emergency break line

8. Connect to power (with surge protectors)

   1. Always ensure breakers are off to plug in

9. Finished leveling (front and rear)
   

10. Drop rear jacks
    

11. Connect to water (if applicable)
    

12. Connect to sewer (if applicable)
    

13. Extend slide outs

14. Inside item set up

    1. Ensure fridge is running on electric

    2. Turn on water heater

    3. Turn on AC/heat if needed
